The process involved collecting speeches, reviewing academic literature, developing an analytical framework, identifying key insights, and shaping the visual approach.

I led the development of the research framework and visual approach, while Agustina Nahas was responsible for data scraping and website development.

The result is Women and Children, a data-scrolling website exploring how this phrase is used in speeches at the United Nations General Debate.

Inspired by a bordereau, we developed a data design unit that used cross-stitch to visualise the patterns we found in the speeches.
